Location: Intersection of W. Hancock St. and Pulaski St. in downtown Athens, GA (see map below)
Details: The Wild Rumpus Parade will start on West Hancock Ave. in downtown Athens adjacent to Creature Comforts Brewing Co. The parade winds through downtown Athens, with parade artists (see locations on the interactive map below!), ending on W. Washington St. from Lumpkin St. to Pulaski St. for a massive spectacle with multiple stages, sound & lights, trapeze and pole performers, fire performers, dance and step troupes, installations, and a MASSIVE DJ THROW DOWN in the street*!!! The Dance Party and Spectacle goes on until 11 pm 😀

Time: 5:00 pm – 1:00 am
Details: Open containers of beer or wine will be allowed inside the barricaded “Festival Zone” which spans several street blocks of downtown, on Washington St. from Pulaski where the dance party happens, all the way up to Lumpkin St. Wristbands are required for outdoor drinking and may be purchased at Creature Comforts, Paloma Park, Cheba Hut, Rook & Pawn, Ted’s Most Best, Trappeze Pub, Flicker, Clocked, and El Paso Tacos + Tequila inside the festival zone.
