AAHS works toward their vision through collaborative, comprehensive programming for families with children who are experiencing homelessness.
- Almost Home Emergency Shelter is a low barrier shelter program providing childcare or after school care, trauma informed case management and all basic needs, focused on securing stable housing options.
- Bridge To Home Education Shelter is a transitional shelter program for families with a student-parent, providing shelter for families while the parent pursues a degree or job training certification. This program also provides childcare or after school care, trauma informed case management and all basic needs with the goal of increasing income to increase housing stability.
- Going Home Rapid ReHousing provides 1 year of rental assistance for families moving out of homelessness into stable housing, including security and utility deposits. The lease is in the family’s name allowing families to build credit. This program also provides trauma informed case management to our families.
- Strengthening Home is a family enrichment program supporting all families residing in shelter, nourishing healthy development, extracurricular activities, and family bonds, and working to build families resource networks upon discharge from shelter.
